Bonsera – Leonard, 58, suddenly on Feb. 25, 2017.
Son. Father. Pop Pop. Husband. Brother. Uncle. Godfather. Cousin. Friend. Everyone he encountered knew exactly how he got the nickname, “Lenny Love.” A man who loved family more than words can express, he was loving and lovable. His children and grandchildren, his wife and siblings, his extended family and countless friends—we all loved him back...so very much. He was with us at all our important celebrations—the weddings, christenings, holidays, graduations and birthdays; and he was there when we had to put our loved ones to rest. We just can’t believe that today, we are so suddenly forced to put him to rest. We have so much more to celebrate. So much more to say. We are heartbroken.
Perhaps you have been here before. A deep sense of loss. Helpless, hopeless and full of questions. Lenny’s tragic, sudden death left us all so unprepared to deal with this grief. We thank you for all the kind thoughts and prayers that so many have extended the past few days. Your compassion, sympathy and love help fill the void more than you know.

Some of you have asked how you can help defray the unexpected financial burden on Frannie and the family. Please consider donating here to help with the funeral expenses. Our hope is that, together, we can help raise the resources needed for a proper goodbye...not a final goodbye, but a goodbye for now.
