Purfield
Julia, on Friday, March 10, 2017, age 85, of Catonsville, was called home by the Lord. She was preceded by her husband, Robert Purfield, and son, Bob Purfield. Julia is survived by her daughter Julianne Purfield Winters and husband Jim; granddaughter Amanda Winters; sister Madeline Sacerdote; brother Joseph Sacerdote and wife Loretta. Julia was a longtime employee of C&P Telephone Company and after retiring she enjoyed ballroom dancing and crocheting. Her loving and lively personality will be missed by family and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 7P.M. on Wednesday, March 22, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 6950 Dogwood Road in Windsor Mill, Md. A Funeral Mass will also be held on Saturday, March 25, at Stella Maris Church, 2901 S. 10th Street in Philadelphia, Pa., with visitation at 9A.M. and Funeral Mass to begin at 10A.M.. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Liver Foundation.
