Margarita M. Mancano (nee Iacovelli) – Passed away in her 11th Street home is South Philadelphia on June 10, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was 87 years of age.

Margarita was a sweet and unassuming woman who was fiercely devoted to her family and to her faith.
Her love was displayed in many ways, however, the best was through her amazing cooking. The house would smell of her homemade Manicotti, Gnocchi, Pizzellles,Chiffon Cake and Bows - just to name a few favorites. She was happiest in her home surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is the beloved wife of the late Rocco; devoted mother of Joseph Mancano (Bridget), Joan Longo (Samuel), Maria Mancano (Peter Cuozzo) and John Mancano; loving grandmother of Laura, Paul and Kerrie; dear sister of Enrica (Daniel); also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation 9-9:45 AM and Funeral Mass 10 AM Thursday at Church of the Epiphany of Our Lord, 1121 Jackson St., Phila., PA 19148 Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
