To those heartless people that wrote this obituary, you should be ashamed of yourself leaving out the family that truely cared for Pops.
To Karen,Sam & Sammy... You were everything to Pops and Everyone knows the Love and dedication that you gave Pops! You Love was unconditional!
To Pops, I will miss you. Your charm, smile and your hugs always made me smile.
I know you are in Heaven dancing with your Love Mary. Rest In Peace.

Pop, I'm so sad you left us but so happy you crossed per peacefully in your sleep and I got to pay my respects to you one last time on Dec 31st. Thank you, Karen (YOUR ONLY Grandaughter) and buddy/Grandson Sam McReynold's who ensured you wouldn't be placed in a home or allow you to continue to live alone after Vinnie died.
We had so much fun these last 3 years together...you brought us (Nocella's/McReynolds') so much joy! Always a smile on your face and pep in your step...which is why I just can't believe you are gone...
I enjoyed spoiling you; my Mom and I (as well as Karen) cooking all of your favorite foods for you, sharing all of the Italian wine and Champagne with dinners; watching the Flyers with you, even sometimes if it was virtual. The day you died was my Mom's birthday but she was home busy making tripe and sausage scallopini for you as she knew how much you enjoyed it! I will cherish our last meal together on Christmas Eve, while you were bragging to all of the Nocella's about how much you loved my cooking especially my 'Sunday Gravy' and how I did everything right, the way You remembered family dinners when your wife, Mary, was alive and Nan.
You were so proud of Lil' Sam (Great-Grandson) and all of his accomplishments...I know how excited/happy you would get when he would come home. I'm So happy he was home to spend your last few days with you. I thank God everyday you were surrounded by/with love so you were able to cross over peacefully without any stress. I wish I could have been there for dinner on the 30th having fun with your daughter-in-law, Joanne and her family...but it wasn't meant to be... We always enjoyed reminiscing about the old days and how much you loved my Aunt Marie (deceased daughter-in-law, Karen's Mother) with stories only you could tell...to say 'you'll be missed' is an understatement as you became a central part of our lives. I know Heaven's Gates opened wide while they played 'When the Saints Come Marching In'!
Forever in our hearts, Pop, my drinking partner...just know I will always raise a glass in your honor,Pop! We never did fear when Vince was near and we know you'll always be close by! We love you, Pop! Bernadette and Catherine (affectionately known as your Girlfriend) and The rest of The Nocella Family.

What a true loss of such an amazing man. Pop was truly one of a kind a true gentleman. He adored his granddaughter Karen McReynolds and was so overwhelmed and grateful with the way she cared for him....Pop was so happy and looked so wonderful in these past 2 years and nothing can change that. He was ready to join his wife Mary and left this world peacefully in his sleep. Now he can finally truly be at rest. I am so sorry for your lost Karen Sam and little Sam but at least you can always hold onto to joy and happiness that you gave Pop when he needed it so badly. Michael and I are also blessed to have gotten to know Pop so we'll one of the sharpest older men we've ever had the pleasure of knowing....Rest easy Pop
Salute!!!

Cannot believe the names of those who took such fabulous care of you for the last three years---Karen, Sam and Sammy---were left out of the obituary. What ignorance and disrespect. Your last words to me only hours before your passing were that you could not have been more happy or more loved. Thank you for allowing me to spend time with you. Joanne really, really loved you and we will miss you very much. Rest in peace Vince, you were a true gentleman.
