Stephen Anthony Benales passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was 56 years of age.

Steve loved life! A guy with a huge heart, he would do anything for anyone. If there was a party happening, you would be sure to find Steve there, meeting people and having fun. He loved the ocean. Steve enjoyed spending time at the beach in Wildwood, but also enjoyed living in Fort Myer's Florida and even served as 1st Mate on a boat for a time. Throughout his life, fitness was first in Steve's life. He was a competitive professional body builder and won many championships including Mr. Teen USA, Mr. Atlas and Mr. Seaboard to name a few. Steve's larger than life personality will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Steve is the loving father of Stephen A., Jr., beloved son of Sandra (nee Parras) and the late Stanley; dear brother of Michael (Diane), Nicholas, and John (Brunella); special uncle to Damian and Daniella; also survived by many cousins and friends.
