Obituary for Michael Azzarano

Azzarano, Michael of Philadelphia PA, died suddenly at his home on January 26, 2018. He was 51 years old.

Michael, "Mike", was such an outgoing and likable guy. He was always helping others and was the type of guy who would give you the shirt off of his back. Mike was dedicated to his recovery and his fellowship. He was dedicated to the Survival group and always stuck with "The Herd". Mike was always cheering on the Phillies and the Eagles. As far as hockey and the flyers go, he said he'd rather watch paint dry. He had a love for South Philly and the South Philly traditions. He was a "Bread man" and recently worked for Liscio's. In the past it was Amaroso's and UPS. Michael loved Dunkin Donuts coffee, panzarotis, pizza, his sister, Lisa's, chicken cutlets, and his wife's pasta fagioli. He was the best "poppy" in the world. His grandchildren absolutley adored him and they brought such joy to his heart. Two of the happiest moments were when he received his "World's greatest poppy" t-shirt and when his niece, Ashley, moved a few blocks away.

He is the beloved husband of his wife, Tracey; step father to Kenny, Kyle and Desiree and grandfather to Jace and Ayala, and another one on the way. He is the loving brother of Lisa and Kathy and brother-in-law to Trevor. He is the special nephew to Joanne, Kathy, Ronny and Judy; dear uncle to Ashley, Lexi and Trevor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation and celebration of life at Christian Life Center, 3100 Galloway Road, Bensalem PA, 19020, on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 4 pm. A gathering will be held after.
