Anna R. Gianforcaro (nee DeLutis) passed away peacefully May 18, 2017 at the Woodbury Mews, formerly of Woodstock Street, South Philadelphia. She was 90 years of age.
A strong and funny woman, Anna was devoted to her family. Her kitchen was the heart of her home. There she would gather together family and friends dinners and holiday parties cooking up her world famous gravy, veal or pasta fagioli soup or fantastic meatballs. Anna loved to try her luck at the slots in Atlantic City, especially at Harrahs.
She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph C.; devoted mother of Raymond Joseph (Janet) and Diana Lodi; loving grandmother of Anna, Raymond, Jr., Eric and Nicole; loving sister of Mary (Carmen) Buccieri and Anthony DeLutis.
