Javier Gonzalez – on October 4, 2017. He was 54 years of age.

He is the beloved husband of Sharon A. (nee Newmiller); devoted father of Stephanie, Emily and Kelly; loving brother of José, Oscar, Dulce and Araceli and brother-in-law of Carolyn (Dave Jones), Dana Covalevich (Ed); special father-in-law of Robert Newmiller (the late, Jennie).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 7-9 PM in the Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc., 2232-40 S. Broad St. (at Wolf Street), Philadelphia, PA 19145 and Tuesday 10-10:45 AM in the Bethel Christian Church, 1583 Blackwood Clementon Rd, Blackwood, NJ 08012, where a funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Entombment Fernwood Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.

We were so hoping to see you again. We were fortunate because of our long association with Macy's and with the Friends of the Wanamaker Organ to have spent many late nights and early mornings chatting with you. You touched many, many lives with your gentle demeanor and ready smile. Even way out here in rural Ohio you made a difference as we bid you farewell with heavy hearts. You interacted with many people and I'm sure that you made a difference in lives even farther away that we are just by being who you are. You were the right guy for Macy's to have had smiling at people as they came and left. May God bring peace to your family.

What can I say about Javier that people haven’t said already. He was a kind, gentle person who always had the newest and latest Gadgets. He loved his family with his whole heart. He would do anything for anybody. He always made you feel welcome!
May the choirs of angels come to greet him may they speed him to Paradise. May the Lord enfold him in his mercy may he have eternal life. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed Rest In Peace until we see them again.

I am so saddened by the loss of Javier.. He always greeted me with a big smile and a hug whenever we d meet coming or going to work. I know he fought a long hard battle and it was time for him to rest. I am thankful for all the "fun" Javier phrases he would say always with a big smile and this is how me and my coworkers in 116 will always remember him. My heart goes out to Sharon and the girls, who were his whole life, and I will keep you and home in my prayers. Rest In Peace Javier, you surely earned it.

My heart just dropped. I just found out my coworker went home to be with The Lord. He was a loving and kindhearted man . He would pray for you and with you . The struggle is over for him . He is missed and I am praying for his family and friends to lean on each other and remember his GODLY CHARACTER , his healing smile and his wonderful greetings as you came into Macy's. I don't know about anyone else but he ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS SHOWED THE LOVE OF JESUS.
