Obituary for Anna Pauline Iannucci

Mrs. Anna Pauline Iannucci (nee Biondo) of Philadelphia on Monday, March 5, 2018. She was 89 years of age.

Anna was a tremendously thoughtful and very spiritual woman. She believed in the power of prayer and she was available, always, to pray with anyone who was in need. She always had time to tend to her family and many friends with a kind word, terrific advice or, simply, just to listen. Her Italian penicillin chicken soup was her trademark. The first sign of a sniffle and you could always count on a container of it at your doorstep. She loved life. A few months after double knee replacement surgery she was up, in the middle of the dance floor at her grandson's wedding, doing the Mummer's strut. You could find her, on Saturday night with her daughter, Elsie, at the Adelphia Restaurant/Nightclub, in New Jersey, holding court. And if there was a 500 Rummy card table in Las Vegas she would have been one rich lady because she always won. To have counted her as a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend was a treasure to behold.

She is the devoted mother of Elsie Fernandez, Michael Iannucci (Frank) and Monique; loving grandmother of Leanna (Kenton), John (Kristin), Brittany and Jade; great grandmother of Ella, Emme, Johnny, Chloe and Aubrey; also survived by Rockie the dog.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation 10 AM and memorial service 10:30 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018 in Calvary Temple, 3301 S 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145 followed by lunch at Popi's Italian Ristorante, 3120 So. 20th St., Philadelphia PA 19145
