Obituary for Josephine M. Fritticci

Josephine M. Fritticci (nee Baggio) passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was 93 years of age.

The strong matriarch of the Fritticci family, Josephine was devoted to her family and to God. Born, raised and residing on Clymer Street all of her life, she was known as the friendly and loving“piece of work” to her friends and neighbors who fondly knew her. As a traditional Italian woman, she was a conscientious, hardworking person who cooked and cleaned and protected her family at all costs. Praying at her bedroom altar, especially to the Blessed Mother, was a daily passion for her. She also enjoyed music and loved to dance. Josephine will be sadly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She is the beloved wife of the late John Fritticci; devoted mother of Rose A. Fritticci and Joseph A. Fritticci; loving grandma of Nicole Costa (Michael), Phillip Kramer (Danielle Davis), Teresa Fritticci and the late John J. Fritticci and Josephine F. Fritticci and great grandmom of Olivia Costa, Jackson Costa, Ariana Kramer, Austen Kramer, Evan Kramer and also survived by many other great and great great grandchildren; dear sister of Madeline Costa, Grace Verdi, Nicholas Baggio, Jr. and the late Henry Baggio; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family pup, Rosie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation 9 AM and Funeral Mass 10 AM Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Saint Mary Magdelen de Pazzi RC Church, 712 Montrose Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Yeadon, PA.
