Mr. Joseph P. O'Connor of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Delran, New Jersey suddenly on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He was 82 years of age.

A thoughtful and humble guy; Joe will be remembered for his big heart and quick dry wit. He was a devoted family man who provided for his family working in office administration, prior to retirement. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Joe was a long time resident of Delran, NJ, where he raised his family in a loving home. It was there that celebrations and picnics were held, countless memories were made and where all the neighborhood kids were welcome to gather, swim and fellowship. He and his wife, Lynne moved to Florida in 2014. Joe enlisted in the US Army and served during the end of the Korean Conflict, serving his time proudly between Washington, DC and Greenland, where he where he jokingly years later gave himself the nickname of Arctic Fox. Joe will be sadly missed by anyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He is the beloved husband of 55 years to Lynne; devoted father of Thomas O'Connor (Francisco Rivera), Denise O'Connor - Coruzzi (Michael) and Maureen Giacoboni (Chester); loving grandfather of Megan Coruzzi and Ryan Giacoboni

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate 85 great years Saturday, September 22, 2018 with his visitation 9 AM and Life Celebration Service 10 AM in The Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, New Jersey 08054.
