Peter, November 20, 2018, age 84. Of Essington formerly of South Philadelphia. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen "Perky" (nee Clarke). Devoted father of Angela, Rich (Dawn), Peter, Charles and Nick (Gina). Loving grand pop of Tina, Erika, Rich Jr., Nicholas and Dillon; great grand pop of Julianna, Brianna, Savanna and Brendan. Dear brother of the late Margaret Casella, Nettie Matuszewski, Rose Brock, Dom, Ben, Steve, Nicky and Charles Costa Jr.; also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.
Owner of Peter Costa and Sons Painting, Wood Graining and Remodeling. A successor to Charles Costa and Sons Painting, Est. 1915. Peter was most known for his graining. Other than working with his hands, Peter loved to ride his motorcycle.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday Eve. 7 to 9 P.M. and Funeral Tues. Morn. 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc. 2232 - 40 S. Broad St. (at Wolf St.). Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 11th and Jackson Sts. Interment S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
