Obituary for John J. Sergio
Mr. John J. Sergio passed away after a long illness on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his residence. He was 57 years of age.
John was an outgoing, family man who was always the life of any party. He provided for his family by working as a security supervisor for the Four Seasons Hotel on Rittenhouse Square for over 20 years. As part of his benefits there, John and his family enjoyed visiting their properties on many vacations over the years. John was a huge sports fan and especially loved to cheer on the Eagles. Spending time on the beach with his family especially in Wildwood, was very special to him.
He is the beloved husband of Frances “Fran” (nee Notaro); devoted father of John Sergio, Carly Ehly (Michael) and Alexa Sergio; loving grandfather of Luca, Kieran, Adria and the soon to be arriving Ariella; loving son of late John and Joanne Sergio; special son-in-law of Catherine and Angelo Notaro dear brother of Angel (Digs) DiGiacomo and Joey Sergio and brother-in-law of Joseph Notaro (the late Pam), Vito Notaro (Elvira) and Rose James; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
