Mrs. Clara Ann DiTizio (nee Berenato) passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital. She was 70 years of age.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Clara was a traditional South Philly Italian Mom who loved to keep her beloved family close by. She was the rock, the go-to and the glue that held the DiTizio's together. Clara will be dearly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

She is the beloved wife of the late Domenic J. DiTizio, Sr.; devoted mother of Domenic, Jr., Natalie, Michael (Lindsey) and Kim Talarico (Anthony); loving mom mom of Gianna, Domenic, III, Mia, Madison, Bella & Baby Michael; adoring great-mom mom of Skylar; dear sister of Marie Pedone (Joseph), Rosalie Richard (Maurice), Gilbert Berenato (Judy), Domenic Berenato (Dorothy) and the late Anthony Berenato (surviving, Evelyn).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 9:30-10:15 AM in the Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc., 2232-40 S. Broad Street (at Wolf Street).

Funeral Mass Thursday 11 AM in Saint Monica Church, 17th & Ritner Streets.

Cremation services will be private.
