Josephine (Giusepina) Schiavo (nee Colavita), January 31, 2021. She was born in Sant’Elia a Pianisi, Italy and came to America at the age of 14 with her family in October 4, 1949, following World War II. She completed her education and worked in the family business in South Philadelphia. She was married to the late Pasquale Schiavo on 1958 (married for 63 years) and was blessed with 3 children. Josephine cherished life and had boundless energy. She lived for her family and her faith and enjoyed traveling, new adventures, and sharing a smile with anyone she met.

Josephine is survived by her three children: Theresa Perone (Schiavo), Lawrence Schiavo, and Joseph Schiavo; two grandchildren Angelo Perone and Cristina Perone; one great granddaughter Aria Jade Perone; and one sister, Maria Falcone (Colavita).
Josephine was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria Filomena Colavita, beloved sister of the late Maddalena Tartaglia (Colavita), Angelo Colavita, Anthony Colavita, and Domenic Colavita.

Visitation at St Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022, on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. to 10:15 A.M. Following visitation, there will be a Funeral Mass for all at 10:30 A.M., following by burial at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
Face Masks and Social Distancing are required.
