Obituary for Bruno Fontana
FONTANA
BRUNO, age 78,March 24, 2021. Beloved husband of Diana M. (nee Renzi). Devoted father of Lisa (Thomas) Connelly, Denise (Valentino) Nori and Domenic (Eva) Fontana. Loving grandfather of Kristin, Thomas, Brenden, Cameron, Nicolas, Angelina and Domenic; great grandfather of Marley. Dear brother of Julio (JoAnn) Fontana; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Fontana was born in Casal Velino, Salerno, Campania, Italy. He came to America with his family when he was 16 years old. He quickly learned English and worked hard to become a successful mechanic. He was the owner-operator of Bruno's Service Station from 1974 to 1986. Shortly after, he assisted with the family tax business. Bruno loved to chat and joke with all of the clients. Bruno loved to cook, especially his famous gravy. His favorite hobbies were fishing, bowling, and vacationing with his family. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing and Funeral Tuesday morning 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. at Vincent Gangemi funeral Home, Inc. 2232-2240 S. Broad St. (at Wolf St.). Funeral Service to begin 12:00 P.M.
Interment Holy Cross cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
