CATHERINE ROSE, (nee Carosiello), age 88, May 21, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Anthony P. Iannitti “Reds”. Devoted mother of John Anthony Iannitti, Vincent Andrew Iannitti and Richard Louis Iannitti. Dear sister of Marie Mami, Joseph Carosiello, and the late Rita Pandolfo, Peter and John Carosiello and Anna DeFillippis; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Receiving the Fideli Corde Award from the IHM Sisters:
“For over 40 years, Catherine has been working with and supporting the IHM sisters in their mission of Catholic education. Catherine has a great love for the sisters, the children, parents, faculty and staff of St. Monica School, at 17th and Ritner Streets in Philadelphia. Her positive attitude and joyful, generous spirit are the gift to all who knew her. She is a faithful witness to God’s love by her daily attendance at Mass and prayerful disposition throughout the day. She kept her desk drawer stocked with IHM Spiritual Treasury cards for faculty and staff and was a top seller of Camilla Hall chances each Oktoberfest. Known affectionately as “Mrs. I,” there is no “I” to anything she does. It has been and continues to be all about everyone else.”
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing and Funeral, Thursday morning 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M.at St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Streets, Funeral Mass to begin 11:00 A.M.
Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Office of IHM Mission Advancement, 230 IHM Drive, Malvern, PA. 19355 in Catherine’s memory.
