Obituary for Bernardino "Benny" Fattore

BERNARDINO “Benny”, 87, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on March 19, 2022. Born in Molise, Isernia, Italy on December 12, 1934. Benny spent his early years with his parents and three brothers before moving to Rome for work. In 1964 he married his wife Maria and immigrated to the United States in 1966. Together they had two children, Lillian and Dino.
Always a hard worker, he spent the majority of his time employed as a plumber for Sabatino & O’Malley Inc. before retiring. Most recently, Benny enjoyed watching boxing on TV, taking walks, making his own wine and visiting farms where he could pick his own fruits and vegetables. A unique soul, Benny was very social and enjoyed going to the gym, playing cards and reminiscing about the “old days” with his family and friends.
Benny was predeceased by his parents Albino and Maria Fattore, brothers Elio and Livio Fattore and his beloved son Dino Fattore. Benny is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Maria (nee Gennarelli); devoted daughter Lillian (Brian) Walker and loving grandsons Joseph and Anthony; dear brother of Erminio Fattore and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral, Saturday morning, March 26th, 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. at Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc. 2232-40 S. Broad St. (at Wolf St.). Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 11th and Jackson Streets.
Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
