Obituary for Regina A. Lanci

LANCI
REGINA A. age 86, beloved wife of late Raymond P. Lanci. Daughter of the late Nora and Henry Purnell. Regina passed away on April 26, 2022 due to respiratory failure and complications from multiple strokes over the past several years. Regina was born in West Virginia but lived most of her life in South Philadelphia.

Regina was an energetic fiery woman with a kind heart. She was well known in the community as she was caretaker and operations manager of the Lanci Bakery business. Regina possessed an appreciable friendly quality for she was open to a conversation with anyone. She was not only a talkative person but would astutely listen and understand other individuals for this she was well liked and loved by others. Regina enjoyed reading the bible, sewing, cooking for others, caring for her roses and watching birds in the backyard.

Regina had a stoic faith in Jesus Christ and put God and family before herself. Regina lived a full life and was loved by many, especially by her sons, grandchildren, and great's who unequivocally adored her. She lived a full life and now
her spirit is at peace and one with God.

Regina devoted mother is survived of Larry Lanci (Eleanor Orlando), Robert Lanci, and Steven (Valerie) Lanci. Loving grandmother of Raymond A. Lanci, Michael Lanci (Christina Schlegel), Joseph (Meghan) Lanci, Christopher (Lisa) Lanci, Victoria (Dominic) Formelio, Valen (Dan) Fecca; great-grandmother of Anastasia, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Giavonna, Lucas, Miles, Amber, Lorenzo, Lucia, Ella, and Victor. Dear sister of Ruth (the late Ron) Stuber along with the extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and services Monday evening, May 2nd, 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc. 2232-2240 S. Broad St. (at Wolf St.)
