ALICE (nee Funari), November 10, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Jerry C. Dati. Devoted mother of Linda (the late Edward) Clark, Denise (Albert) Gentile and Gerald (Deborah) Dati. Loving grandmother of E.J. (Kristin) Ward; Stephanie, Amanda and Colleen Clark, Lia, Frank and Margo Gentile and Gerald and Annalise Dati; Great grandmother of Addison, Amelia and Ava. Dear sister of Sylvia Funari, Julia Kerwood, Nicholas (Marie) Funari and Joseph (Ellen) Funari and the late John Funari; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Alice with her son Gerald, co-owned and operated Dati’s Water Ice in South Philadelphia for over 30 years. She was known and loved by many. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking and baking; feeding anyone who came through her front door. She enjoyed family gatherings. Alice was a true caregiver for anyone who needed her help, whether family or friend. She will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Monday morning, November 14th, 10:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. at St. Richard’s Church, 18th and Pollock Streets. Funeral Mass to begin 12:00 Noon.
