Obituary for Logan Matthew Israel

LOGAN MATTEW, age 15, suddenly, November 19, 2022. Beloved son of Catarina Dionisio and Jason Israel. Survived by Avô Jorge and Avó Celeste Dionisio; Grammy, Joan Israel (the late Frank Cicchino); Pop, James (Nonni, Carolyn) Israel; and also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Logan was a very bright, intelligent and kind-hearted young man. He was everyone’s friend and had a special way of connecting with people of all ages and from all walks of life. He loved many things including science, escape rooms, rock climbing, video games and Dragon Ball Z. He was thoughtful, compassionate and witty and had the best sense of humor. It was hard not to smile around Logan. He was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday evening, 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc. 2232-2240 S. Broad Street (at Wolf St.).The family will welcome relatives and friends to share their favorite stories and parting words at the viewing Friday evening.
His viewing and funeral will be Saturday morning, 9:00 to 10:45 A.M. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1404 S. 3rd Street (at Reed St.) Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 A.M. (The Funeral Mass will be webcast on the funeral home’s website within Logan’s listing in Photos and Videos)
Interment will be private.
