Obituary for Anthony P Bove Sr.

ANTHONY P., Sr., age 81, December 7, 2022. Beloved husband of Elizabeth V. Bove (nee D’Aquilante). Devoted father of Lisa (Jeffrey, Sr.) Rosenblum and Anthony P. Bove, Jr. Loving grandfather of Jeffrey Rosenblum, Jr. and Francesca Rosenblum. Son of the late Salvatore and Elvira Bove. Dear brother of Adele Bove and Joseph Bove. Anthony is also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dear brother-in-law of deceased brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Anthony served in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He worked and retired from U. Sciences in Philadelphia. He met his was wife Betty in 1966 and they were married on May 3rd, 1969. Betty was the apple of his eye. Anthony loved being around his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He loved watching sports and was an avid Phillies fan. His most enjoyable time was watching his grandson Jeffrey play baseball and went to every game. Anthony will be truly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Wednesday morning, December 14th, 9:15 to 11:15 A.M. at St. Gabriel’s Church, 2917 Dickinson St, Philadelphia, PA 19146 (at 29th Street) Funeral Mass to begin 11:30 A.M.
Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Gabriel’s Church in Anthony’s memory.
